Plain-language notes on how Careviv currently works. This is not legal advice and not a compliance certification.
Matching is rules-based and human-reviewed
Recruitment matching compares structured facts that clinics and doctors provide. It produces factor-level labels, not a single compatibility score. Careviv staff review eligibility constraints and introductions. Matching does not hire, license, or place anyone.
AI does not make final hiring decisions
Careviv does not currently make final hiring, placement, licensing, or similarly significant decisions solely through automated processing. You can ask for an explanation, correct inaccurate inputs, or request a human review of an assessment that materially affects how Careviv handles the relationship.
What limited AI-assisted functionality currently exists
Some public assistant and content-moderation features, and some internal content-formatting tools, may send submitted text and limited conversation context to OpenAI or another AI provider. These features are not used to rank or select recruitment matches.
What is never appropriate for public AI tools
Do not enter passports, DBS records, CVs intended for recruitment matching, patient information, confidential clinic information, or other sensitive personal information into a public AI feature. Recruitment profiles are not sent to OpenAI for matching.
Data minimization
Careviv aims to collect and share only what is needed for the requested service. Household information may support doctor-controlled relocation planning. It is not used to judge clinic-side hiring suitability.
Identity and profile visibility
New doctor profiles stay private until the doctor makes an explicit visibility choice. Choosing “Visible to clinics” lets location-matched clinics see a limited professional profile. Choosing “Private” removes the profile from clinic discovery. Careviv staff may still use the profile to provide requested services.
Staged identity release
A limited profile may include professional background, specialty, target location, timeline, languages, and readiness indicators. It excludes name, email, photograph, and references until the doctor accepts an interview invitation or Careviv records that an introduction has otherwise been authorized.
Explanation and correction
Surfaced pairings can show aligned factors, possible conflicts, unknowns, needs confirmation, and not applicable. Unknown information stays unknown. Doctors and clinics can correct their own information through the portal or by contacting Careviv.
Human review and challenge paths
Email generalinfo@careviv.ca to ask what information was used, correct an input, or request a person to review an assessment. Careviv staff remain accountable for how recommendations are used.
Data retention and deletion
Retention follows the purpose of the record and the Privacy Policy. You can request access, correction, or deletion where applicable law provides that right.
Security and privacy contact
Careviv does not claim SOC 2, HIPAA, ISO, PIPEDA certification, or data-residency guarantees beyond the configuration described in the Privacy Policy. Core application database and secure-document storage are configured in Canada. Some providers may process information in other jurisdictions.
