About the Services
These Terms of Use (the "Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Careviv Health Inc. ("Careviv," "we," "us," or "our"), the operator of Careviv websites, applications, services, and related platforms (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Services.
1. About the Services
Careviv operates a tech-enabled healthcare-workforce platform focused on helping Canadian clinics recruit, relocate, and onboard physicians—particularly UK-trained GPs—and related supporting services. Depending on your relationship with Careviv, the Services may include:
- Clinic partnership, hiring-support, and physician introduction services.
- Doctor recruitment, relocation-support, licensing-pathway information, and clinic-matching tools.
- Doctor and clinic portals for profiles, documents, communications, and placement next steps.
- A patient list that notifies people when partner clinics open new family-doctor capacity.
- Public clinic and provider directory listings for informational and discovery purposes.
- Educational content about Canadian primary care, licensing pathways, and clinic hiring.
- Optional AI-assisted informational tools, reminders, notifications, and service updates.
Careviv does not provide medical, immigration, or legal services
Careviv is not a healthcare provider, immigration consultant, lawyer, or insurer. Careviv does not diagnose, treat, prescribe, provide medical care, guarantee licensure, guarantee immigration outcomes, or provide legal, immigration, or insurance advice. Licensing, immigration, employment, and clinical decisions remain with the applicable regulators, authorized professionals, clinics, and doctors. You are responsible for independently verifying clinic information, appointment availability, professional credentials, and any pathway requirements that apply to you.
2. No Medical Advice
- Careviv is not a healthcare provider.
- All information available through the Services is provided for informational and convenience purposes only and must not be considered medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
- Always seek professional medical advice from a licensed healthcare professional regarding your health.
- Do not use the Services for emergency medical situations. If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 9-1-1 or go to your nearest emergency department immediately.
- Your use of the Services is at your own risk.
3. Recruitment, Matching, and Introductions
Careviv may help clinics and doctors explore potential fit, share limited professional information, coordinate introductions, and support agreed next steps around offers, relocation, and onboarding. Careviv does not guarantee that any introduction will occur, that any clinic or doctor will proceed, or that any placement, licence, work permit, or employment relationship will result.
- Clinic fees, partnership terms, and when identifiable candidate information is shared are explained before a clinic enters a paid engagement or receives identifiable candidate information, except where another written agreement applies.
- Doctors and clinics remain responsible for their own due diligence, contracts, credentials, supervision arrangements, and regulatory compliance.
- Careviv may decline, pause, or end a recruitment process where information is incomplete, inaccurate, or inconsistent with these Terms or applicable law.
4. Credentials, Documents, and Vetting Information
Doctors and clinics may upload or provide CVs, identity documents, licensing evidence, references, and related materials so Careviv can assess readiness and support matching. You represent that information you submit is accurate and that you are authorized to provide it. Careviv may review, verify, or decline documents, but document review is not a substitute for regulatory credentialing, immigration advice, or clinic employment screening. Handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Patient List
Careviv may operate a free patient list that notifies people when new family-doctor openings appear at participating clinics. Joining the list does not guarantee a match, a particular wait time, or acceptance by any clinic or physician. Careviv only shares patient details with a clinic after the patient confirms interest in a specific opening, except where required by law.
6. Clinic and Provider Directory
Careviv may publish clinic or provider listings based on information from clinics, public sources, or Careviv partners. A listing on Careviv does not necessarily mean the clinic is a paid Careviv recruitment partner. Directory information may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate.
- Careviv does not employ, recommend, endorse, or guarantee any listed clinic or provider.
- Use of the Services does not create a doctor-patient or other provider relationship between you and Careviv or any listed provider.
- You are solely responsible for choosing your healthcare provider and verifying services, availability, pricing, and coverage directly with that provider.
7. AI Features
Careviv may provide tools powered by artificial intelligence ("AI Features"). AI Features are provided "as is" and may generate inaccurate or incomplete information.
- AI Features do not provide medical, legal, immigration, or licensing advice.
- AI Features must not replace professional consultation with the appropriate licensed professional.
- AI output should be independently verified.
- Careviv is not liable for decisions made based on AI output.
8. User Accounts
To access certain Services, you may create a Careviv account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information, maintain account security, and keep login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity conducted through your account. Careviv may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
9. User Responsibilities
You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes. You must not provide false or misleading information, attempt to access restricted systems, interfere with platform operations, use automated scraping or data harvesting tools, or post fraudulent reviews or manipulate ratings. Careviv may remove content or restrict access if violations occur.
10. Third-Party Services and Links
Careviv may link to third-party booking systems, clinics, regulators, payment platforms, or informational websites. Careviv does not control and is not responsible for third-party services, including appointment scheduling, payment processing, healthcare delivery, licensing decisions, immigration processing, or privacy practices. Your interactions with third parties are solely between you and those providers.
11. User Content and Reviews
You may submit reviews, comments, or other content through the Services. By submitting content, you grant Careviv a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute such content. You agree that your content is truthful and based on genuine experience, does not violate privacy or intellectual property rights, and does not contain defamatory or unlawful material. Careviv may moderate or remove content at its discretion.
12. Intellectual Property
All platform content, branding, technology, and software belong to Careviv or its licensors. You may use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes only, except where a separate written agreement authorizes clinic or commercial use. You may not copy, distribute, or commercially exploit Careviv content without written permission.
13. Disclaimers
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available." Careviv makes no guarantees regarding accuracy of content, provider availability, licensing or immigration outcomes, placement outcomes, platform functionality, or appointment results. Careviv does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free Services.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Canadian law, Careviv is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Careviv's total liability relating to your use of the Services shall not exceed the greater of CAD $100 or the amount you paid directly to Careviv in the previous six months, except where a separate written clinic partnership or services agreement provides otherwise for that engagement.
15. Termination
Careviv may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, fraud or misuse is suspected, or platform security is compromised. Termination may result in removal of account data, subject to legal retention requirements and our Privacy Policy.
16. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Careviv harmless from claims arising from your misuse of the Services, violations of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.
17. Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and applicable Canadian federal law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of British Columbia, Canada, unless otherwise required by consumer protection law or a separate written agreement.
18. Changes to Terms
Careviv may update these Terms periodically. Material updates will be communicated through website notice, email notification, or platform alerts. Continued use of the Services after updates constitutes acceptance.
19. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent to use the Services. Doctor and clinic portal accounts are intended for adults acting in a professional capacity.
