Why we started Careviv
Doctors and clinics make important career and hiring decisions with surprisingly little shared context. A CV cannot explain how someone wants to practise, and a vacancy cannot capture what working inside a clinic is really like.
We started Careviv to bring that context together. Clinics can describe how they operate and what they need. Doctors can share their professional priorities, preferred working conditions, location, and timing. Careviv compares the confirmed information and explains where a conversation may be worthwhile.
Our work began with the complex journey of helping UK-trained GPs explore Canadian practice. That experience revealed a broader problem: doctors and clinics everywhere need a clearer way to understand fit before making a commitment.
Today, the UK-to-Canada pathway remains a dedicated part of Careviv alongside our wider matching platform for doctors and clinics. The goal is the same on both sides—to help doctors find places where they can thrive and help clinics build teams that last.

Dr. Olalekan Ogungbemi is a practising UK GP with experience across clinical care, medical education, and international training. His perspective helps keep Careviv grounded in the realities doctors face when considering a new clinic, healthcare system, or country.
At Careviv, Ola helps shape the clinical and UK-to-Canada pathway so doctors can understand the opportunity, licensing considerations, relocation realities, and questions that still require official confirmation.
