Dr. Rok Jeong was always drawn to the medical field because he likes to help people — he fell into dentistry and has not looked back since. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Alberta in 2013.
His favourite procedures are root canals, wisdom-tooth extractions, and implant surgeries — he's drawn to the intricacies and uniqueness of each case. Before dentistry, his first job was as a server at a sushi restaurant.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Jeong loves to cook — it gives you lots of creative freedom to make it as simple or as complicated as you'd like. Chinese and Vietnamese food are among his favourites. A little-known fact: he doesn't know how to swim, but he still enjoys scuba diving — the two aren't mutually exclusive.

I have been coming to this clinic for my teeth cleanings and checkups for many years now. And the dentists have always been so kind and friendly. The hygienists always do a great job with cleaning. I was having some anxiety about my gum recession and Dr. Jeong was so kind and took the time to explain everything to me and reassured me. The hygienist gave me some tips on prevention and was also very kind about it. I left my visit feeling positive.
