Dr. Julia Lam was drawn to dentistry because she loves working with her hands and is detail-oriented — a natural fit. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacology from the University of British Columbia, and graduated from the UBC Faculty of Dentistry in 2015, receiving awards in the fields of Prosthodontics, Endodontics, and Oral Medicine.
Her favourite procedure is crown appointments, where precision and care come together. Before dentistry, her first job was at Big Orange, where she was "the queen of bubble tea."
Outside the clinic, Dr. Lam loves to spend time with her family, practise yoga, and find new hikes around the Lower Mainland. A little-known fact: she really likes to make charcuterie boards, and hot pot is her favourite food.

Just went to this dentist office for the first time last week, and I really enjoyed it! They took the time to get some of my dental records from my previous dentist that I didn't have a good experience at. Dr. Lam went over my X-rays with me and was very kind and professional. She finally gave me the answers I needed regarding my wisdom teeth. The front desk staff was also very kind. It was a really nice experience, and I'm happy to have finally found a dentist office that treated me great!
