Marialena graduated from West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 1999 and practiced in North Vancouver for six years before setting down roots in the tri-city area. She opened Momentum Therapeutics in 2006 to offer skilled health-care practitioners to an underserved area.
Over her lengthy career she has had the opportunity to treat elite athletes, pregnant women, and post-cancer survivors. Her post-graduate training includes myofascial release, trigger point therapy, craniosacral therapy, lymphatic drainage, visceral manipulation, muscle energy, and body ball rehabilitation — a toolkit she uses to tailor each treatment to the individual patient.
Outside the clinic Marialena is back into hiking, trail runs, mountain biking, weight training, water skiing, wake boarding, swimming, rock climbing, and yoga — when her four children allow.

In the middle of the busy city of Coquitlam, is this easily accessed, fresh, high ceiling therapy studio. Momentum Therapeutics. What a treat! Marialena has such a diverse depth of knowledge; not just in massage therapy but in the healing arts. So much value for the time spent here. I highly recommend her and the studio.
