Armaan Ratra

Armaan has always wanted to pursue a career that incorporates his passion for psychology, behaviour, and clinical work. As a Registered Clinical Counsellor, Armaan strives to provide quality mental health services built on the foundation of a client-centred and bio-psycho-social framework. He believes that clients are always the experts of their narrative and various lived experiences, and aspires to utilize this expertise when creating and implementing a treatment plan.

Armaan also believes that it is important to address an individual’s challenges holistically, acknowledging the biological, social, and psychological factors that may be contributing to a person’s distress. He has experience utilizing CBT, DBT, EFT, and ERP to address a range of mental health ailments including anxiety, mood disorders (depression), life transitions, and OCD.

In his spare time, Armaan enjoys spending time with family, hiking, playing tennis, reading, and travelling. He looks forward to providing online counselling services built on the foundations of inclusivity, trust, collaboration, and hard work.
