Xiujun (Jenny) Chen

Xiujun (Jenny) Chen brings a passion of helping people gain holistic health. Jenny has a firm belief in the body’s innate ability to heal itself and she decides to pursue a career in massage therapy in Canada, after working in hospital as an oncologist for 10 years in China. Jenny graduated from Vancouver Career College and now is registered as an RMT in BC. Jenny has gained a solid foundation in various massage techniques, also have a deep understanding in the pathology of musculoskeletal system and the body’s potential of healing. Jenny understands and takes into account the individual’s specific concerns during assessment and treatment. Jenny is experienced in relieving body tension and stress, as well as restoring muscle function from overuse by applying a variety of massage techniques, such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point release, myofascial release, and so on. Jenny has successfully helped people with neck, shoulder, and back pain; rotator cuff injury; hip disfunction; hand and knee problems. Jenny not only helps people deal with their issues, but also instructs them to use homecare in their daily living, which boosts the entire recovery process. Many people are very satisfied with her treatments. During her free time, Jenny loves reading at home and hiking with her family and friends. Jenny is fluent in both Mandarin and English.
