Ellis Lai

B.Sc. P.T., C.A.F.C.I., C.G.I.M.S., F.C.A.M.T. Ellis graduated from the University of Alberta in 1992, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiotherapy and have worked in private practices since. He has been certified through examinations to practice acupuncture in 1996, peripheral joint manipulation in 1998 and spinal manipulation in 1999 and have earned his fellowship with the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Therapy. He has obtained his Diploma of Advanced Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy in 2000. He has also been certified to practice Intramusclar Stimulation (IMS) by the Institute for the Study & Treatment of Pain (iSTOP) in 2008. He has pursued his interest in the treatment of spinal dysfunctions, TMJ and myofascial dysfunctions, motor vehicle accidents injuries, sport injuries, and other orthopaedic conditions throughout his career. With his experience, expertise, and genuine caring attitude, he has served and helped a good number of clients in Northern Alberta, Vancouver Island and the Greater Vancouver Area. Ellis speaks English, Cantonese and some Mandarin.
