Benjamin Chou

Benjamin 也能说普通话 (is fluent in dialects mandarin and teochew)。

A graduate of WCCMT, Ben was Valedictorian and chosen by his peers and tutors to be awarded the Joe Koscak Leadership Award for exemplifying integrity, passion, perseverance, a passionate heart and a caring soul.

Depending on your day’s demands, your treatment with Ben can be calm, soothing and flowing, or active, performance optimization and rehab oriented - or an amalgamation of both. And if you are just a little unsure of where massage therapy can support your recovery, that is great! Benjamin will be delighted to begin exploring your own unique path with you.

Together, you will establish a partnership to support your recovery from the week’s adventures by holistically ebbing stress from your body while addressing your specific structures of concern with a combination of myofascial release, traditional chinese acupressure point work, traditional swedish massage, breathwork and various orthopaedic techniques including joint mobilizations.

The human body is a remarkably intricate structure of synergistically resilient pieces designed to move and regular maintenance is essential for moving optimally. Because of this, Ben relishes sharing tips and exercises on how to keep our joints and body moving smoothly to build strong, mobile, resilient bodies well into the autumn of our lives. He deeply believes that everyone has the power to move better and feel better, and he would be honoured to be a part of that process with you.
