Betsy Chan

Betsy completed her Bachelors of Athletic and Exercise Therapy in 2017 at Camosun College. Prior to her Athletic Therapy training she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Simon Fraser University in 2008. Having represented Team Canada on several occasions, Betsy is a decorated national-level athlete: Team Canada Co-ed Beach Ultimate Frisbee — France 2017, Silver Medal; Team Canada Masters Women's Ultimate Frisbee — Dubai 2015, Silver Medal; Team Canada Women's Ultimate Frisbee 2008, 2012, 2016 — Bronze Medal finishes. Betsy excels in the treatment and rehabilitation of sacro-iliac joint dysfunction, lumbo-pelvic instability, as well as injuries of the shoulders, knees, and ankle. Her approach is a balance of manual therapy and rehabilitative exercises including modalities such as cupping, fascial abrasion technique, myofascial release, soft tissue release, shockwave, ultrasound, and electrotherapy.
