Registered Physiotherapist

Al is a graduate of the Masters of Physiotherapy program at the University of British Columbia and has a strong passion for long distance, endurance sports ie. running, biking, and swimming. Al uses hands-on manual therapy and provides corrective exercises which can be completed anywhere, anytime, and with minimal equipment.

Prior to becoming a physiotherapist, Al had the privilege to work as a Paramedic in Vancouver for 7 years providing emergency health care to anyone who needed it. He gained a lot of experience treating injuries of all types in an emergency setting. Now he provides physiotherapy to anyone regardless of their previous knowledge or experience with physical activity.

During his free time, Al is likely hanging out with friends, playing an instrument, rock climbing, practicing acro yoga, learning how to dance, or training for an ultramarathon. Al is constantly picking up new hobbies and activities, and he believes this improves his ability to understand the specific needs of each sport. This allows him to tailor his treatments to rehabilitate people back to their hobbies and passions more quickly.
