Tyler Carreira

Tyler was born and raised in the Lower Mainland and graduated with his diploma in registered massage therapy from Langara College. He became a massage therapist following his intrigue with the science of human anatomy and his desire to help others feel better. He has experience working with patients with Multiple Sclerosis, Spinal cord injuries and musculoskeletal injuries and uses a variety of manual therapy modalities that range from Swedish to myofascial and joint mobilization techniques. His ultimate aim is to work with his patients to create a goal that they can work towards to feel happier and healthier by getting back to what they love to do. To accomplish that Tyler completes assessments as part of each treatment to customize every massage to each patients individual needs. In his spare time Tyler enjoys getting outdoors; jogging, hiking, snowshoeing or canoeing; and has recently acquired a new interest in cooking and loves experimenting with new recipes, especially if it involves using his cast iron skillet. Tyler enjoys watching films and is ashamed to admit that he probably spends a tad too much time on Netflix (but only on rainy days).
