Matthew is trained in a wide variety of modalities including deep tissue, neuromuscular, Swedish, and myofascial techniques. His treatment style incorporates a fair bit of Swedish and Myofascial techniques with slow, specific pressure to areas of focus. He particularly enjoys working with hypermobile and chronic pain populations, as well as treating orthopaedic injuries & sport athletes.
In addition to massage, Matthew will recommend specific stretches and exercises to help promote lasting change. His calming and inquisitive demeanor aids his technical knowledge by allowing him to develop a more comprehensive understanding of his patients' needs. He strives to create a comprehensive and collaborative treatment plan that will best support your goals.
Outside of work, Matthew is passionate about gardening, climbing, and running/cycling!
