Dr. Nafisa Pirbhai grew up in Calgary, Alberta and moved to Vancouver to complete her undergraduate degree in Life Sciences at UBC.
She obtained her dental degree at the University of Alberta where she was involved in volunteer experiences such as providing dental treatment to low income populations on weekends, and travelling to Nicaragua to provide dental treatment to urban and rural residents. Dr. Pirbhai continues to work with non-profit dental clinics in an effort to increase access to oral care in the community.
Dr. Pirbhai strives to make all patients feel comfortable while performing high-quality dental work. As one of our dentists in Vancouver, her approach is to ensure her patients are fully involved with and understand the rationale behind all treatment she recommends. Dr. Pirbhai believes in evidence-based dentistry and participates in continuing education to ensure she is up to date on the latest dental procedures and technology. When she is not working, Dr. Pirbhai can be found practicing photography, hiking, baking, and training for her next race!
