Dr. Jin was born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario and made the move to Vancouver to attend the University of British Columbia for both her undergraduate and graduate studies in dental hygiene and dentistry. Prior to pursuing dentistry, Dr. Jin practiced as a registered dental hygienist in the lower Mainland.
Dentistry can be an intimidating time for anyone and everyone, that can involve uncertainty, pain, and anxiety. Above all, Dr. Jin strives to foster a welcoming and calming environment through empathy, patient education, and patient led and honest conversations.
As everybody presents with unique and individual circumstances, Dr. Jin strongly believes that a personalized treatment approach leads to personalized results. Dr. Jin provides a wide range of dental services, including general dentistry, oral sedation, wisdom teeth extractions, root canal treatment, and therapeutic and cosmetic Botox. Dr. Jin is passionate about dentistry and enjoys the ever changing world of dental technology and research. She is committed to a lifelong learning journey in dentistry and stays active with multiple continuing professional education programs and study clubs, ensuring that she is able to provide up-to-date and informed dental care.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Jin enjoys taking advantage of all that Vancouver has to offer and partakes in open water swimming, boxing, hiking, and is currently training for a half marathon. She is an avid baker, ironically and unfortunately, fueling her sweet tooth and hopes to open a bakery in her retirement years.

The best dental clinic ever, hands down. I’m not usually a google reviewer but I gotta give props to my gals at Nest. Every single staff member is so warm, funny and personable. And Dr. Jin absolutely rules! She makes you feel comfortable and calm, she is honest and transparent about cost and meets you where you are at financially and truly takes all the fear out of going to the dentist. It’s a real treat going to the dentist now!
