"I have been going to see Jessie almost weekly for over two years. At first, I went to see her to get better from various sports injuries, but now I visit her every week to prevent future injuries and problems so that I can maintain an active lifestyle. Definitely life changing for me. Jessie is one of the best physiotherapists in the lower mainland."

Jessie is a registered physiotherapist who received her training from the University of British Columbia. She is certified to practice acupuncture under Acupuncture Canada. Jessie is also a Clinical Pilates Instructor having completed the rehabilitation program (Mat and Reformer) in STOTT Pilates. Most recently, she earned her ConnectTherapyTM practitioner designation, which is an innovative approach that focuses on assessing the whole body to identify and treat the root cause of the pain.
As a therapist, Jessie believes in providing more than band-aid measures, but finding long term solutions and preventing future injuries. She utilizes a combination of hands-on techniques, needling, and exercise in her treatments. Jessie’s broad range of clinical experience includes sports injuries, neck/back injuries, pelvic dysfunction, arthritis, peri-natal care, and pre/post-surgical rehabilitation.
Jessie works extensively with yoga instructors and provides consultations on how to practice yoga safely for students. As a new mom herself, she also enjoys working with women before and after birth on core and pelvic floor strength, or simply rebuilding strength to run after the kids. Jessie has been the team therapist for local triathlon clubs and often works with running groups in program planning, injury screening and prevention, and treatment of acute injuries.

I started going to PhysioWorks back in around 2013 due to ongoing back problems and have went to massage therapists, chiropractors, and acupuncturists for years prior. I was reluctant to believe physio would be helpful due to previous experiences where physiotherapists put a machine on me and didn't help long term. When I started seeing Jessie Wu through a friend urging me to, Jessie's astute assessments, manual therapy, and explanations helped me learn what was going on for me and I have learned how to help myself as well through various stretches and exercises. Although I've had to go back here and there (if I am more committed to her recommendations day-to-day, probably even less needed), my overall physical health is so much better. What Jessie and her team does is for long-term improvements and not just temporary relief.

I have been seeing Jessie Wu for a few months. She is super great and smart. She helps analyze my problem from its root cause and gives me exercise to improve my situation such as to improve my muscle strength. Instead of just helping relieving my pain which is what most physiotherapy does, she is helping to cure it by finding its deep reason. She is also very nice and patient and listens to patient's need. I highly recommend her!!! Moreover, the exercise she gives me has corresponding document and videos which is very helpful otherwise it is easy to forget.
