"As someone who's been constantly going to physiotherapy for years due to injuries and muscle problems, this is by far and away the best experience I've had in Vancouver. Jonathan is extremely skilled at what he does, and selects specific exercises for me to do that account for my conditions and issues- and is more than happy to adjust them based on how I feel when doing them. On top of that, he has a great attitude to go along with it. I had knee problems back in March and thanks to him I've gotten much better and can resume activities that I was unable to do anymore. Furthermore, the front staff are also very kind and provide excellent quality customer service. I had some issues with my insurance coverage, and Eliza sorted it all out for me by calling MSP to fix it and providing me with the details and follow up in a punctual and professional manner. Couldn't be happier with my experience and would highly recommend."

Jon has a Masters degree in Physiotherapy from the University of British Columbia (MPT 2011), and a BSc. in Genetics with a minor in Kinesiology (2008). Since completing his Masters degree, he has continued professional development and completed his Advanced Orthopaedic Manual Therapy levels and received his certification of FCAMPT. He has obtained his certificate of Acupuncture from the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada (CAFCI). He also incorporates Functional Dry Needling into his clinical practice. In addition, he has also obtained a certificate in the Integrated systems model (ISM).
He has played competitive sports, including soccer, since his youth. Multiple injuries meant numerous visits to Physiotherapy. The guidance and help he received gave him a feeling of hope and an ability to return to sport. He enjoys Olympic weight lifting and understands the demands of functional movement under increased load.
He is passionate about maximizing functional human movement. Whether it is for the younger athlete, weekend warrior or someone more senior. He gets a strong sense of accomplishment when a client is able to return to the activity that brings them joy. On the weekends you can find him playing soccer for a North Shore men’s soccer team, skiing or snowboarding in Whistler, or cruising the coastal waters of British Columbia with his wife and sons.

Words can not convey how blown away I am by the whole team at Treolar Kerrisdale. I am extremely grateful to have found both Steve and Jonathan to work with. They have each helped me immensely. I have some very complex issues, and it is a real comfort to know that I have been in the best of hands. Absolutely everybody at the clinic I have dealt with has seriously gone "above and beyond". Very grateful to Eliza and Jessica as well. They all have an incredibly caring and compassionate bedside manner, are extremely professional, kind, and "hugely skilled" in in their field.
