Nidhi Shah

I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy from India in 2015 and had 5 years of Physiotherapy practice in India. I came to Canada in 2021 and passed my license exam in 2023 and had a good experience working at Surrey Memorial Hospital and have provided care in multidisciplinary clinics across British Columbia. I also have a wonderful experience teaching and conducting Yoga and wellness classes in India.

My areas of interest to treat include chronic neck and back pain, shoulder and knee injuries, sports injuries, muscle/ligament sprain, post surgical rehab and arthritic conditions, Vestibular Rehab and Pain and Posture Management Strategies. My strength is setting realistic goals with my patients and helping them to achieve them. My focus is mainly based on the needs of my client, and by taking time to listen and communicate with them about the treatment they need throughout their recovery journey. My approach is hands-on and evidence based. I thrive to create a personalized treatment plans that can empower my patients to regain mobility, build strength and return to their daily lives with confidence. I enjoy exploring nature, practicing yoga, and staying active in the local community. Physiotherapy is a exciting and challenging profession and I am always keen to expand my knowledge and skills.
