Winnie completed her Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto in 2019. Her interest in health care stemmed from her wish to help others recover from life’s hurts and challenges. After graduating from the University of British Columbia with her Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2016, she delved into work and volunteer that helped promote the mental health and wellness of adults with autism and socially isolated seniors. However, she recognized her lack of knowledge and competency in helping people with their physical pain in the process, and developed a keen interest in physical therapy as a result.
Winnie started her career at Vancouver Coastal Health, working mostly in acute post-operative rehabilitation with patients who underwent total joint replacements. She now expands her practice to a private orthopaedic setting, where she utilizes manual therapy, individualized exercise prescription, and modalities to help clients achieve their goals. Winnie has completed her Level 1 Diploma of Advanced Orthopaedic Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy, and aims to pursue continued education in this area. Winnie is also certified in Vestibular Rehabilitation for BPPV, Vertigo, Dizziness and Functional Dry Needling.
Outside of work, Winnie chases after intense post-workout sweat, delicious cuisine, and wild fictional tales in movies and dramas.
Winnie is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.

Winnie is excellent! She is very professional and friendly. I went to Dunbar Physio after switching from another clinic. I had a lower back injury from work. On the first day, most information was collected and confirmed with me. Then we started the exercises. Winnie guided me in very details to ensure I am doing the exercises right. I did some exercises given to me at home too. Combining everything, my back recovered enough to consider going back to work. I am so grateful to Winnie and Dunbar Physio, without whom I would still be in back pain.

Winnie is attentive and details oriented. She helped me with multiple sports injuries and prescribed exactly the right progression of exercises to keep me in top shape. I think that because she makes all the right tests quantitatively, her assessment of what imbalances one has is top notch.
