Dr. KAMYANI BANSAL

Kam has always been passionate about working with people, which led her to pursue a Master of Arts in Psychology from Panjab University, India. After working for nearly eight years back home, Kam moved to Canada in 2016 with the dream of becoming a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC). Although it seemed challenging, she discovered that her master's degree from India met the Canadian requirements.

During her journey to become an RCC, she had the opportunity to work with teens with autism in group homes and school settings. This experience enlightened her and fueled her desire to support families facing the stress of caring for family members with special needs.

In India, she worked as an addiction counselor, helping clients with addiction and mental health issues in a hospital setting. She is deeply committed to her client's well-being. Whether you are overwhelmed by daily challenges or dealing with a life event that has turned your world upside down, she is here to support and guide you.

She has extensive experience working with a variety of concerns, including but not limited to grief and loss, depression, anxiety, trauma, OCD, self-harm, and PTSD. I work with individuals across all demographics, and she is currently working with both youth and adults.

Kam is also fluent in Punjabi, Hindi, and Urdu
