Susanne’s Pilates journey began in 2018, when she discovered a practice that would ultimately reshape both her life and career. After 35 years of dedicated service as an educational assistant, she felt drawn to the mindfulness and body awareness that Pilates offered – this inspiring world of intentional movement began the foundation for her next chapter. In 2023, Susanne completed her teaching training with Mindful Movement Pilates, a milestone that solidified her commitment to the method as both a lifelong student and an instructor. She carries immense gratitude for the peers and mentors who supported her along the way – encouraging, guiding, and uplifting her as she built a teaching philosophy rooted in collaboration and continual learning. Today, Susanne continues to expand her knowledge and refine her approach, guiding every client with the same patience, empathy, and encouragement that formed her decades in education. For her, Pilates represents far more than a career shift – It is a purpose driven path she embraced wholeheartedly, empowering others to move with awareness, confidence, and strength. Born in Vancouver and raised in Richmond British Columbia, Susanne proudly brings her West Coast roots and long career in education into her teaching style, assisting people move more efficiently and feel well in their bodies.
