Alexis Seyforth–Pedersen

Alexis completed her Bachelor of Science at the University of British Columbia, followed by a Bachelor of General Studies with a focus on physiology and biopsychology. She then had the wonderful opportunity to move to Australia for three years, where she attained her Doctorate of Physiotherapy, graduating with distinction from the University of Melbourne. Alexis began her career in the health industry over 10 years ago as a personal trainer. Her experience working with individuals of all ages and backgrounds has enhanced her ability to connect with people and provide patient-centred care. Her interest in performance training pairs well with her physiotherapy expertise and active rehabilitation approach, using exercise and movement to help patients achieve their goals and return to the activities they love. She believes injuries offer an opportunity to better understand the body – an understanding that leads to stronger outcomes and fewer injuries over time. Alexis continues to build her skills in treating diverse musculoskeletal and neurological conditions, and she is especially interested in pursuing further studies in chronic pain management. Outside the clinic, she enjoys weight training, playing tennis, discovering new recipes, baking, and travelling.
