DR. BALKARAN AHLUWALIA

Dr. Ahluwalia is a board-certified chiropractor with an extensive background in treating muscle, joint, and sports injuries with a focus on rehab, performance, and human biomechanics. After obtaining his Bachelor of Science with a major in Kinesiology from Simon Fraser University, he went on to complete his Doctorate in Chiropractic from the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon as well as his Master of Science in Sports Medicine and Bachelor of Science in Human Biology. He uses an evidence-based approach to formulate individualized treatment plans to get the best results in patients. He specializes in a variety of spinal and extremity conditions by utilizing techniques such as chiropractic adjustments, rehabilitation exercises, soft tissue therapy, cupping, taping, instrument assisted soft tissue manipulation, physiotherapy modalities, and more. During his time in Portland, he had the opportunity to work at various professional and amateur sporting events, treating different types of athletes that helped him hone his skills. His passion for sports grew from high school and to this day he stays active by competing in basketball, swimming, weight-lifting, taking leisurely hikes, and walking his dog. Fitness is a passion of his and he likes to empower his patients with the ability to change and progress towards a pain-free and active lifestyle. Treating individuals and seeing their improvements and the impact it has on their lives is what drives him to be the best chiropractor that he can be.
