Dr. Collin Shuen is a board-certified specialist in Prosthodontics. After graduating from dental school, Dr. Shuen distinguished himself by completing a three-year residency in Prosthodontics at the University of Connecticut. He holds Board Certification from both the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and the American Board of Prosthodontics. Dr. Shuen brings over 7 years of experience to Pacific Spirit Dental Centre and has grown up around dentistry his entire life. The son of two dentists, his own family is celebrating 40 years of dental practice in Vancouver. Dr. Shuen’s dedication, energy, and training make him the ideal person to safeguard your dental health for years to come.
Whilst off-duty, Dr. Shuen enjoys indulging in food and exploring how cuisine is woven into cultures around the world. He shares Dr. Schmidt’s love of photography and the outdoors and counts himself fortunate to live in the beautiful lower mainland of BC.

I recently transferred as a dental patient to Dr. Collin Shuen on the retirement of my prior dentist. I could not be happier with the quality of care I have received from Dr. Shuen and his team. They are courteous, professional and very capable. I have had dental implants, a crown and regular care and in each case I was very pleased with the results. Dr. Collin Shuen has excellent chairside manner, communicates very effectively and has been fair in his billing practices. I would recommend him and his team to any new patient looking for a great dentist.

My dentist recently retired, and Dr. Collin Shuen took over the practice. I know that my previous dentist would not have chosen anyone who wasn't at the top of his game and cared about his patients. Dr. Shuen certainly did not disappoint! The office staff are extremely kind, caring and professional. I highly recommend Pacific Spirit Dental and Dr. Shuen.
