At Granville Physio we take a different approach to rehab, one we feel is more comprehensive and thorough. We employ a wellness first approach that focuses on curing your condition rather than just treating the symptoms. The great thing is that the research shows that our approach has proven more effective than what many clinics offer. These clinics emphasize passive modalities like heat packs, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation with a few cookie-cutter exercises. Although these are valuable adjuncts to treatment, when they are the focus of care they often do not address the root of the problem. This makes these clinics more profitable, but one-on-one time with patients is low. We do things differently! Our physiotherapists find the root of the problem instead of chasing your pain, while emphasizing a hands-on approach. Our therapeutic exercises are geared toward your specific injury. You may ask why most clinics do not focus on manual therapy? For the most part, it is because it is time consuming, and the more hands on time a therapist spends with one patient, the less attention can be used to supervise multiple patients performing exercise programs. Beyond that, manual therapy education is expensive and time consuming. If you have not had the desired results from your previous healthcare treatments, it is time for you to come experience the difference! Situated at Granville and 70th in Vancouver's Marpole neighborhood, we provide ample free parking and easy access from all areas of Vancouver and Richmond.

Very pleased with Cheryl So at Granville Physio: as always, she's professional, gearing the rehab to your needs, with an encouraging, timely, progressive pace. My experience at Granville Physio has been great! Highly recommended! I must say: I'm very pleased with both Cheryl, as my physio therapist, and Sean Gill too, as my massage therapist! They are both, caring, and methodical, in their treatments. I feel that they both work very hard, inspiring me to work hard too, towards recovery! We share common goal! I feel encouraged !

I had been dealing with metatarsalgia (pain in the ball of my foot) for six months. At first, I assumed it was just a bone bruise that would heal on its own, but even after months of consistent stretching and rolling my foot, the pain didn’t go away. I was a bit skeptical going into my first treatment, thinking it would just be a basic assessment, followed by a general diagnosis of muscle imbalances and a few exercises. However, Cheryl completely changed my perspective. From the moment we began, her professionalism and extensive knowledge stood out. She took the time to thoroughly evaluate my condition, asking insightful questions and carefully assessing the affected area. What impressed me the most was her ability to pinpoint the exact root of the problem—tightness in the muscles between my second and third metatarsal joints, an area I didn’t even know could cause such pain. Cheryl explained everything in a clear and approachable way, making sure I understood the issue and how the treatment would address it. We proceeded with shockwave therapy, which was a game-changer. Cheryl’s expertise, combined with her genuine care and attention to detail, made the entire experience exceptional. She didn’t just treat the symptoms; she provided a tailored plan to address the underlying cause. I cannot recommend Cheryl enough. Her professionalism, deep knowledge, and compassionate approach set her apart. If you’re looking for someone who truly knows what they’re doing and genuinely cares about their patients, Cheryl is the one to see!
